Locust St Project Update: Due to some unforeseen delays with our contractor, we've had to adjust our plans. As of about 10 minutes ago, the contractor will be on Locust St tomorrow morning to drop off their concrete forms. The crew will return Saturday to form up all of the necessary curb and guttering. They will return Monday to pour all of the concrete. The City of Alva Street Department will plan to begin laying asphalt Tuesday once the heat of the day will allow us to begin hauling material. We anticipate that it will take 2 days to lay the asphalt.
