- Presidents' Day
- Memorial Day

- Veteran's Day
- Thanksgiving Day (and the Friday after Thanksgiving)
- Christmas Day
If a holiday falls on Saturday, the offices will be closed the Friday before. If a holiday falls on a Sunday, the offices will be closed the following Monday.
The City Office or City Hall handles the following:
- requests for turning water service on or off
- trouble calls on water, sewer, trash, and street and alley problems
- questions on utility billing
- sale of plots in the Municipal Cemetery
- day to day questions and problems
